My snoring still disturbs my wife's sleep .. and I am now sleeping in another room! When I was I Guy's for my bypass operation, one of the other patients recorded me on his mobile ... I disturbed his sleep ... even more when I suddenly stopped snoring, when he had to get up to make sure I was still alive. My mother was worse than me.

Thanks for the comment Michael. It just shows that we need to carry on educating the general public about bed buying and also the importance of a good night's sleep.

Thank you for the article Lisa everything you have said above really applies to our customers.
I really agree with your first point where you say that it is down to the individual to decide on the mattress which is right for them.
Just because one mattress is more expensive than another does not necessarily mean it is better for an individual.
Split tension in a 1 piece or ZIP+LINK is always worth considering when there are two people sharing a bed where individual requirements are different.
In terms of delivery a common issue for us is where customers don't understand that because a Super Kingsize (6ftx6ft6 or 180cmx200cm) can fit in their bedroom it might not fit in their house. The gap between the 6th or 7th step on your stairs and what is often the box room above the stairs can really limit your options. Always consider a ZIP+LINK mattress rather than a 1 piece if this is the case.
On the sizes people buy now I'd suggest Kingsize/Euro Kingsize is more popular than a double although I only have our sales to go from. Many customers coming through our door use the language double bed without really understanding the difference between 4'6x6'3 & 5'0x6'6.
